Top Tip Tuesday Guest Design Spot

Hi there and a belated Happy New Year to you!

 I have won a guest design spot for Top Tip Tuesday Blog so here is my entry to the theme 'Keep it Simple' :

  I stamped the image twice and layered it up to add dimension:

Now I am definitely NOT an expert on Clean and Simple cards but my tip is:
STEP AWAY FROM THE CARD!! It is so tempting to just add....... but after many a ruined card I would say avoid the temptation!!
Also if you would like a bit of texture on your card to add a piece of lace or trim.

So I hope that my tip is useful to you.

This was yet another stamp that I just had to have!

Father Christmas bought me some new NEW STAMPIN UP BLENDABILITIES so it was the perfect stamp to test them out.
They come in a pack of three - light, medium and dark-

Over at Less Is More the theme is 'Family' also they are saying goodbye to Jen who is such an inspirational crafter I know she will be missed. So in honour of Jen I have CASED THIS CARD:

As you can see I didn't copy it exactly as I think that is stealing and obviously it is not as good as Jen's.

Hopefully Jen will still post when she has more time as her talent needs to be shared.
