Hearth & Home Thinlits Die

LESS IS MORE take two:

For this card again I stamped the tree scene from Stampin' Up! HAPPY HOME stamp set, heat embossed it and sponged the sky and sun. Next I used Dazzling Diamonds glitter for the snow. The window is from the HEARTH & HOME THINLITS DIE:

The base card is dry embossed with the BRICK WALL embossing folder.

So that is my Less Is More entries - now I'm off to my other blog to post a Penny Black card!

Thanks for visiting.

Happy Home

As promised I am back with another card from my Saturday craft session!
This is my first entry for LESS IS MORE 'Silhouette':

I stamped the tree from Stampin' Up HAPPY HOME:

and clear heat embossed it. Next I masked off a circle (for the sun) and sponged the sky and grass. Then I masked off everything except the sun and sponged that. I have given it a lick of a Wink Of Stella pen but it doesn't show up well in the photo.
To finish off I stamped the flowers directly onto the card base and added a few squiggles to join up.

As I used a snippet of black card stock I will also enter PIXIES' SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND.

I will be back shortly with my other entry for Less Is More.

Thanks for visiting!

What I Love - Freshly Made Sketches!!

Good morning!
Yes I do love Freshly Made Sketches but it is also the name of the stamp set that I used for my card:

For my card I just used the outline stamp and fussy cut it. The sentiment is from BIRTHDAY BLOOMS and I also used some WHITE PERFECT ACCENTS.

I would like to enter:

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #GDP019

Good evening and welcome to my blog.

I have had a lovely day today playing with my new Stampin' Up! stash!
Here is my first card:

I followed the theme at:

The stamp set that I used is in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue which means that it is FREE when you spend £45 on Stampin' Up! products. It is called 'Sky Is The Limit' but is only available until 15th  February.
I stamped my sentiment from Bloomin' Love stamp set and masked off the word 'You' and the heart above 'it's in the air'.
My papers are from Sweet Li'l Things and Going Places  and I also used some Enamel Dots.

So that's my share for today - I'll be back tomorrow with another card.

Thanks for visiting!

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #GDP018

Where have I been you might ask?
Well last weekend it was my birthday and I bought three chickens to add to my two. One of mine is no longer laying so I needed to increase my egg supply!!
In the past chicken introductions have not gone well at all but this time it has been so easy!
The new ones are settling in very nicely - yay!!

Onto my card:

I have followed the sketch at:
and used Stampin' Up! Easter Lamb stamp:

I masked off the sentiment and then coloured the gorgeous image with my Blender Pen and various inks. The backing paper is the Subtles DSP  and the sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.

As I used some snippets of Soft Sky card stock I will enter:
PIXIE'S SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND
and over at AS YOU LIKE IT CHALLENGE they are asking 'favourite paper or non paper project'. Mine is most definitely paper as I am not good at knitting (my tension is too tight!). But I have just bought a sewing project and will show it when I have finished it!

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Stampin' Up! Helping Me Grow

Good evening and welcome to my blog!
Here is my card for today:

I have used the beautiful stamp set called 'Helping Me Grow':

This is Photopolymer stamp set which makes it so easy to use as it is clear. I paper pieced the flowers with the Subtles DSP - I do love to paper piece as I find it very relaxing to sit and snip!

The butterflies are sadly from a retired die.

My card is inspired from Freshly Made Sketches:

Hopefully I can enter by the skin of my teeth as the deadline is very soon!
I would also like to enter PIXIE'S SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND as I used lots of snippets!

Thanks for stopping by.
