Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge for Less Is More Challenge

Happy Saturday to you!

Here is my entry for the LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE 'one layer - splatters':

I used my 'In Colour' Stampin' Write Markers to ink up the sentiment (from Work Of Art stamp set ) then I masked it off and stamped various stamps from Gorgeous Grunge. I tried to get a sort of brush stroke effect on the sentiment and surrounding stamp as if it was painted with a paintbrush.

If you try to ink up your stamps with the markers don't forget to give it a good huff before you stamp to re moisten the ink! (my puppy gave me very strange looks when I did this!!!)

Hi there I'm back with another card:

For this card I used the new Stampin' Up! DETAILED FLORAL THINLITS DIES:

I started with the sketch at:

The sentiment (which I tried to make look like a wedding cake!) is from NUMBER OF YEARS STAMP SET and the banner die is from LARGE NUMBERS FRAMELITS.

I will also enter the FUSSY AND FANCY challenge where the theme is 'Anniversary or Wedding'and as I used some snippets of Smokey Slate and white card stock I will enter Pixie's Snippets Playground .

This card will come in very handy this month as hubby and I will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary!!  (as he doesn't read my blog I won't be ruining any surprises!!)

Tuscan Vineyard

Hi There!

This is the first of two posts for today:

I then decided to add Crystal Effects:

When I saw that this weeks LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE is 'PURPLE' I started off with the sketch over at SKETCH SATURDAY and used the fabulous new Stampin' Up! 'Tuscan Vineyard' stamp set:

I coloured the grapes using my Stampin' Write Markers and a blender pen. Then I added some Crystal Effects to make them shine - not sure which version I prefer!
