Stampin' Up Butterfly Basics

Good afternoon all.
This is my third attempt at a CAS card and I was going to show you my other 2 but decided they are not fit for the human eye!
So here is my third time lucky card:

As I have said before (many times!) I really struggle with CAS cards but I like the look of them and do like to challenge myself. Should I give up though is the question?!!

The card may look like the butterfly is stuck on but I die cut the butterfly, coloured it then placed it back where it came from.
Here is my top tip: when you take out the butterfly place strips of Cellotape on the back of the butterfly before you colour it to stop it moving - ask me how I know!!!

Must dash now as the chickens need shutting in.
Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoy the rest of the day.

  7. Lovely CAS card Eve love the butterflies colour. You could always add a bit of interest by sandwiching coloured card between white if you feel brave enough :). Check out my challenge wins, I've done this on a snowman card http://sheepskidesigns.blogspot.co.uk thanks for joining us at ABC Challenge

  10. Ah, I get your tip. I am the one who is scrabbling around on the floor, looking for the tiny pieces to fit back in!
Beautiful card, Eve and perfectly balanced. I would say you've nailed the CAS style.
RE: the Ella Blue paper - It's one of my favs and I'm afraid I've had it for years. If your friend is really desperate,
I'd be happy to send her half a dozen + sheets (most of the rest is cut up pieces).
