Textured Boutique Embossing Folder Bargain!

Hi there and welcome to my blog today. In a moment I will be back with my 'Feminine Friday' post but first I have this card to share with you:

To make this card I used my Sponge Dauber to ink the raised stars from the LUCKY STARS embossing folder on Vellum. The 'Happy' die cut is from the HELLO YOU set and the 25 was cut from a snippet of Typeset DSP. All of the other items are listed at the bottom of this post.

I recently bought the TEXTURED BOUTIQUE EMBOSSING MACHINE  for the bargain price of £13.49:

It is perfect for using embossing folders and at that price is - Wow!!  But the only thing is that it is in the CLEARANCE RACK so I don't know how many are left.

Macho Monday and my Anniversary!

Good morning all and welcome to my 'Macho Monday' post but also it is our 24th wedding anniversary today!
Here is a card that I made for hubby:

I used HELLO YOU THINLITS DIES for the 'happy' and a sadly retired Memorable Moments set for the 24th and 'anniversary'. To punch the banner out I used the BANNER TRIPPLE PUNCH - love this punch!  The oval punches were SCALLOPED OVAL and LARGE OVAL PUNCH.
To add a bit of pizzazz I used LINNEN THREAD and METALIC SILVER THREAD.
Lastly the DSP is the new GO WILD pad.

Floral Wings 'Feminine Friday'

Hello and welcome to my 'Feminine Friday' post!
Todays card is made using the new FLORAL WINGS HOSTESS STAMP SET :

As I rushed straight in and stamped my butterfly it wasn't until I was putting my stamps back in the box that I realised there is a leaf set which makes things so much easier! I will explain - here is what the stamps look like:



To fill in the leaves I used the single leaf but there is a cluster of leaves that stamp all of them in one go - Doh!!

Anyway I will know for next time!!

There is also an arrow at the top of each set of stamps so it makes it easier to line up (didn't notice this until after too!!)

 

I used the same colours as yesterdays card WISTERIA WONDER  and  POOL PARTY with the addition of MINT MACARON.

The die cut 'you' is from HELLO YOU THINLITS DIES and I used some SILVER METALLIC THREAD  on the butterflies body.

As I used some snippets on todays card I will enter Pixie's Snippets Playground and also As You Like It Challenge  'favourite flower' - well I have lots of favourites but I do love purple roses. I think that there is one called 'Blue Moon' which would look lovely in my garden - especially because roses are chicken proof!!!
