Butterfly Basics

I am a day late with my 'Feminine Friday' Post I'm afraid -sorry!!
Here is a card that I made for one of my lovely customers:

I stamped BUTTERFLY BASICS using STAMPIN' WRITE MARKERS then using BLENDER PENS I pulled the colour into the middle.
The background was stamped with GORGEOUS GRUNGE in SAHARA SAND INK PAD.
The sentiment is from ANOTHER THANK YOU STAMP SET.

Why is it that when I make a card for someone my mojo takes a hike but if it is not for anyone specifically the card just comes together - weird!!

My Cased Card from Brandy Cox

Hi there lovely blog people!

I recently saw  THIS  video tutorial by the super awesome Brandy Cox and thought that I would give it a go so:

As you can see it is not quite on Brandy's scale but I tried!!   Looking at it now it could do with some gems to add sparkle but I didn't have any at the time.

I would like to enter this card into the Simon Says Stamp Blog Challenge where the theme is 'Anything Goes'.
