Good afternoon and welcome to my 'Macho Monday' post:
Before Crystal Effects -
And after Crystal Effects! -
I have combined two different challenges for today's card:
Where the challenge is to CASE the super, awesome and very talented Brian King. Now I have made no secret to the fact that I LOVE Brian's cards and have cased his work before so I was delighted to see that it was his card to CASE for this challenge. Brian's cards are so clean looking which is something that I would love to master but struggle with big time. I also think that Brian has the best sense of humour and he regularly has me in fits of laughter with his brilliant card videos. THIS YOUTUBE VIDEO is just so funny and whenever I need cheering up this is the one to do it for me!!
I CASED the colours of Brian's card: Pool Party, Whisper White and Cherry Cobler.
The other challenge that I have entered is:
Thank you for visiting me today and I hope that you have had a great day!

Eve - I just love how you've used these colors to create a not-so-Christmas card. Great combination of both challenges - you card is really wonderful, and I'm so glad that you played along with my CASE the Designer challenge this week at the Global Design Project. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteA super card Eve, a great take on the sketch and brilliant colour combination.

Personally, I think you have the "clean" look down pat, Eve. Love the before and after shots too. What a difference a little Crystal Effects makes. A great CASE card. Thanks for playing along this week at Global Design Project.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card and the Crystal Effects really does make this fabulous. Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful card, I can see the inspiration from Brian King and like that you could change it to a male card. Thank you for playing at Global Design Project.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I've been holding off on that stamp set, but I think your card has pushed me over the edge. I love that you used Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine to go with the lobster. Thanks for sharing with Global Design Project this week.
ReplyDeleteI love your shiny lobster, such a clever interpretation and I love Brian too :) thanks for joining us this week xx
