Sweetbriar Rose

Good evening all.

WARNING:  sun glasses on please!!

You can take them off now!!

I paper pieced the rose and coloured the leaves with Stampin Write markers. Not sure that you would actually get a spotted rose in real life but who cares!!
Looking at it now it looks a bit garish - Mmmm!
I didn't add a sentiment so that it could be used for any occasion.

New MDS Blog Header

Do you like my new MDS blog header?
I think that it's not bad for a first attempt as I really am not good with anything technical!
It didn't take long to do and the good thing is that I can change it at anytime.

The only thing that I added to my MDS to make my blog header was a Flag Punch which cost £0.65.

Next I will make a new blog header for my other blog!

Less Is More - take 3!

Good evening all.

I hope that you are well and have had a good day.
Here is my entry for the Less Is More Challenge:

This is actually my 3rd attempt as I was not happy with my other two-
I felt this one didn't have enough 'white space':

 and this one just wasn't good enough!

Oh well 3rd time lucky!

I think that this challenge was doomed from the start as when I tried to take a photo of my card the wind blew and I had to chase it around the garden! Then it got dirty on the corner so I had to cut the corners off :(  
Note to self: on a windy day take photo's indoors!!

For the square on my first card I inked up my acrylic block then spritzed it with the shimmer spray and the white dots are liquid enamel.

Pictogram Punches

Good evening all.

Another CAS card today:

I used the Stampin Up markers to ink up the stamp so that I could use two different colours. As I didn't have any yellow ribbon I used Daffodil Delight to ink up white ribbon.
