Global Design Project #GDP016

Good afternoon and welcome to my blog.
I hope that you have had a wonderful Christmas.

Sadly since I was unwell with Tonsillitis my craft mojo decided to take a little break. But yesterday I had a little play with my new Stampin' Up! pre-order and made this card:

The inspiration for my card was from:

where the challenge is to CASE the designer (Bibi Cameron). I used the circular element and blue colour tones.

The stamp set that I used is called 'Helping Me Grow' which is in the new Spring/Summer catalogue and will be available January 5th. If you would like a FREE copy just send me an email HERE and I will pop one in the post for you.

My flowers are stamped with Basic Grey Archival ink pad and then coloured with my Blender Pen and Soft Sky/Pear Pizzazz ink pads. The backing paper is from the Subtles DSP. I finished off with a lick of a Wink Of Stella pen.

I would also like to enter ALLSORTS CHALLENGE BLOG where the theme is 'Anything but Christmas' and as I used some snippets of Soft Sky card stock I will also enter Pixies Snippets Playground. Miss Di is having a huge celebration as it is four years since she took over the playground. There are lots of fabulous prizes to win so I would get all of your snippets out and enter  the fun over there!

I am just deciding whether to get the hoover out or make another card Mmmmmm!
Yes - the card wins!!!

Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

  1. Wonderful card Eve! I thought you were quiet chick - glad you seem to be better now - especially if you can even think about vacuuming! LOVE the colours you used - gorgeous and I desperately need to sort myself a SU order out. To be honest, I felt so ill with this wretched gout I wasn't sure if I'd ever be up to crafting again!

  2. So soft and beautiful! My mom had flowers like that in a vase when I was growing up (artificial flowers). Reminds me of them!

  6. Hi Eve, so sorry to hear you have been poorly and I very much hope you are on the mend now. I've not been in the best of health over christmas either and this is the first day that I have felt like getting up and using the computer. Massive thanks for the uber gorgeous Christmas card you sent me, its stunning and I love how you layered the beautiful little scene...it was the prettiest Christmas card I received this year and it will take pride of place on my craft desk when the decorations come down. Thanks also for the catalogues you sent me...I've spied a few bits I want to order on the 4th...a new year crafting pressie to myself lol! I'm pleased too that your craft mojo has returned and with such a pretty little card too! Beautiful colouring and I love all the sparkle too, the colours are so fresh!
