Here is my entry for LESS IS MORE 'SKETCH' CHALLENGE:

I used Stampin' Up! Botanical Builder Framelits for the leaves and from the new catalogue 'Swirly Bird stamp set' and 'Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies' for the birds nest. The sentiment is from And Many More. The eggs are covered in Crystal Effects to make them shine.

I'm now off to order a Chinese Takeaway for tea - must dash!!

The background firework came from 'Balloon Celebrations' stamp set and I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

From Land To Sea

Hello there!

Here is my entry for this weeks LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE 'one layer- at sea':

I used Stampin' Up! FROM LAND TO SEA' stamp set for the lighthouse and various textured stamps for the sea, clouds and rocks. The sentiment is from GUY GREETINGS.

I'm not really happy with the colour of the lighthouse as it looks a bit too bright!!

Oh! well back to the drawing board!!

and used the theme over at LESS IS MORE 'PASTEL SHADES'

Also as I used lots of snippets I will enter PIXIES SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND.

For my flowers I used Stampin' Up! Botanical Framelits:

I used the SUBTLES CARDSTOCK and the sentiment is from the BIRTHDAY BLOSSOMS STAMP SET. The embossing folder is called BRICK WALL.

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #034 MEETS LESS IS MORE!

Good afternoon from a glorious sunny day in Devon!

Today's card combines two challenges:

Now I will fess up straight away as I CASED this card from the Stampin' Up! 'Stampin' Success' brochure. So the credit has to go to the wonderful Stampin' Up! designers. I changed it up slightly with different DSP and colours though!

The flourish came from FIRST SIGHT  (LOVE this set!) and the DSP is from LOVE BLOSSOMS  . The sentiment is from ONE BIG MEANING  and I used some WHITE PERFECT ACCENTS.

The two challenges that I would like to enter are:

Stampin' Up! Watercolor Words

Good morning and Happy Bank Holiday Monday to you!

I have a fairly masculine card to share with you today:

Not sure if I like the card much!!

I used the sketch over at FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES and stamped the sentiment from WATERCOLOR WORDS. The embossing folder is WOODGRAIN and I fussy cut the flowers and covered them in Crystal Effects. Added some candy dots and ribbon and sponged around the edges.

It is 'anything goes' at STAMPING SENSATIONS and PENNY BLACK AND MORE so I will enter there too.
