Wild About Flowers

I'm not 100% happy with todays card and I think that it is because it is too CAS:

I used the beautiful WILD ABOUT FLOWERS stamp set and then covered it with CRYSTAL EFFECTS. I was hoping that when it was dry I could bend it to make it crack but it wouldn't!!  It would have probably been best if I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder so I'll try that next time!
The sentiment is from ANOTHER THANK YOU and I used the following punches LARGE OVAL, SCALLOPED OVAL and 2 1/2 INCH CIRCLE

Stampin' Up! Work Of Art

Good morning all and welcome to my 'Macho Monday' post. Today I have made a card using the WORK OF ART stamp set:

I actually CASED this card:

 which is in the Stampin' Up! Catalogue but as you can see I changed it slightly.

 The WORK OF ART stamp set is in this weeks 'WEEKLY DEALS' and is only £15.00 until tomorrow evening.
The other stamp set that I used to get the splatters is from the PERPETUAL BIRTHDAY CALENDAR set. My colour choice is TANGELO TWIST and I also used the BANNER PUNCH for the sentiment.

Build a Birthday

Good morning from a very wet Devon :-(
For todays card I used the new BUILD A BIRTHDAY stamp set:

I stamped the images twice and layered them up to give some dimension and used DAZZLING DETAILS and CRYSTAL EFFECTS on the candle.

My colours are PERFECT PLUM, BLUSHING BRIDE and CRUMB CAKE.

 

The question is: have I mastered the 'Clean and Simple' look yet?!!

Well if not I will keep trying!

Sprinkles on Top

Good morning and welcome to my 'Feminine Friday' post. Although when I finished my card I wasn't quite sure if it looked very 'Feminine' !!
What do you think:

I used SPRINKLES ON TOP stamp set for my doughnuts (although they look a lot like fruit Polo's!!) and punched them out with the 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH. The DSP is CHERRY ON TOP and the sentiment is punched with the SCALLOPED OVAL PUNCH and LARGE OVAL PUNCH. My doughnuts/Polo's are topped with DAZZLING DETAILS and CRYSTAL EFFECTS.

My card today was CASED from the new Stampin' Up! catalogue (below):

 

As you can see I didn't copy it completely and made my own version.

 

I used the hostess set HAPPY BITHDAY, EVERYONE for the sentiment and the flower is DEFINETELY DALIA stamped in CRUMB CAKE. The DSP is GO WILD and I added JUTEBAND and BASIC BLACK RIBBON. The heart clip is from the retired Hodge Podge Clips.

LESS IS MORE 'STENCILLING'

Good afternoon all.
I'm back with my entry for the LESS IS MORE CHALLENGE 'STENCILLING':

 

I used the STARS MASK and a SPONGE DAUBER to apply POOL PARTY INK. Then a gorgeous new set called SWEET LI'L ONE to stamp the sentiment and punched with the MEDIUM STAR PUNCH. I layered this with the STARS FRAMELITS and finished off with some loops of METALLIC SILVER THREAD.

 I thought about adding some bling but as it is for the Less Is More challenge I decided to step away from the card!!!
