Hello Darling!!

Good evening all.
As promised I am back with my second entry for the Less Is More Challenge  'Newsprint':

I took my inspiration for this card from my super talented up line Michelle Last's card HERE.
All of Michelle's work is always very classy like the lady herself!

So that's my second entry and hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with my third. I have enjoyed this challenge as lot's of ideas came to mind.

Less Is More 'Newsprint'

Good evening and a warm welcome to my little blog!

I have made three cards today for the Less Is More Challenge where the theme is 'Newsprint'.
Here is my first entry:

I thought that it would make a good man's card.
 The sentiment was originally stamped directly onto the card but Dumbo here didn't stamp it straight!!

So that's entry numero uno, I'll be back tomorrow with my second entry.

Football Card

Hello again - yes I know I'm like a double decker bus, don't see me for ages then twice in one day!

Here is a football card I made using the Stampin Up Hexagon Punch:

It was quite difficult to show the dimension of the football.

There are lots of these cards online but I didn't copy anyone specifically as I tried to make mine look as realistic as possible. I used a ball tool around the underneath edges of the hexagons to puff them up and look 3d.

I've seen lots of footballs as my eldest son is football mad - the green house had to go!!

This card gave me a chance to use my new Stampin Up 'Fringe Scissors' which cut the grass perfectly!
I thought about making a winners cup but thought it would be too busy.
